Terms of Engagement
Effective Date: January 2026 — Sesquivel Security
1. Authorized Use
The Sesquivel platform ("the Platform") is an automated attack surface management tool designed exclusively for authorized security testing of assets you own or have explicit written permission to test. Unauthorized scanning of third-party infrastructure is strictly prohibited and may violate applicable computer fraud and abuse laws.
2. No Warranty
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied.Sesquivel makes no guarantees regarding the completeness or accuracy of vulnerability detection, asset discovery, or threat telemetry data. False positives and false negatives are inherent to automated scanning.
3. Limitation of Liability
Sesquivel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of the Platform, including but not limited to service interruptions caused by rate limiting, IP blacklisting, or target system defensive responses triggered by automated scanning activity.
4. Data Handling
Scan results, asset inventories, and vulnerability data are processed on Vercel's edge infrastructure. Data is encrypted in transit via TLS 1.3. Sesquivel does not retain scan results beyond the active session unless explicitly configured for persistent storage by the client.
5. Responsible Disclosure
If you discover a vulnerability in the Sesquivel platform itself, we request responsible disclosure per industry best practices. Contact ops@sesquivel.biz with detailed reproduction steps. We commit to acknowledgment within 48 hours and remediation within 30 days for critical findings.
6. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Maricopa County, Arizona.
